Ashley, I've been pondering this "advice" request and I don't have anything to impart that's particularly earth-shattering. I would like to say to all the quitters who are here reading and gleaning advice from the forums but are hesitating to post- do it! I was terribly shy at first and had never been in a chat room but was so desperate to quit that I wrote a little something in the "Introduce Yourself" section, closed my eyes and pressed the send button. There was something so thrilling about those first few responses.

To Lolly, Duffis, Dawn and Cameless, I admire you all so much for your accomplishments and for sticking around to help the newer quitters. You are all stars in my book!

It is strange how one-day-at-a-time can become 2,556 days in what seems like no time at all - but it has, and here we are, today is that day – 7 years!

I have watched your quit closely from day one and I can tell you that you have done it with elegance, panache and the minimum of fuss. Very impressive and I am so proud of you!!!
