Sounds like a wonderful trip.  We were there in 86.  It is going to be cold there but us Midwesterners can handle it.  I will have a turtle mocha latte

Hollywood, CA!  With the upcoming Academy Awards, this is the perfect time to be in Hollywood!  We have suites reserved at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa, right at the corner of Hollywood and Highland, the epicentre of Hollywood!  We'll walk along Hollywood Boulevard and see the stars of all the famous entertainers over the years.  We'll stop at Grauman's Chinese Theatre to see the footprints and handprints of celebrities.  Madame Tussauds Hollywood and Ripley's Believe it or Not are a short walk!  Anybody up for a tour bus ride to see celebrity homes in Beverly Hills?  The Griffith Observatory, the Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios, Rodeo Drive, and the Grove can all be reached by a quick taxi ride.  We'll see if any of our favorite chickens are in town this weekend so we can visit with them!

For dinner, we'll eat at my favourite restaurant in Hollywood.  Citizen Smith has a unique ambience while serving Southern Comfort food.  Their Macaroni and Cheese with Jalapenos is legendary.  Now I'm not one to usually order a burger, but their Smith Burger Royale is one of the best burgers I've ever had.  I hear their Fried Chicken and Waffles is pretty tasty too!  Save room for dessert as their Strawberry Shortcake is just YUM!  Now this isn't just a hole in the wall restaurant.  It is reservations recommended and it has a velvet rope at the entrance ensuring the rich and famous (and those who want to be rich and famous) can have a great dinner without being hassled by the paparazzi!

The night of the awards, we'll be front row along the red carpet, welcoming the celebrities and asking ourselves "what is she wearing???"  LOL!  We'll have great seats in the Kodak Theatre to watch the awards ceremony, ensuring a fun filled Hollywood trip for everybody!  First round of drinks and lattes is on me, so I'll see everybody in the smoke free bar car!  All Aboard!!!
