Sorry to be so late.  Great trip Rock.  I hope that the wineries have some just plain grape juice.

Napa, CA!  It's off season here, so some great rates and specials this time of year!  We'll stay at the Westin Verasa in Napa, a beautiful hotel surrounded by mountains.  We'll take the wine train to visit different vineyards.  We'll learn how wine is made while touring different wineries.  For those who drink wine, we'll do tastings and sample the different varieties available from Napa Valley.  For those who don't drink, there are wonderful golf courses and plenty of shopping available.  The towns of St. Helena and Calistoga have wonderful downtown areas, full of boutique stores and gift shops.  Plenty of antique stores too!  If you just want a couple of lazy days, there are plenty of spas to pamper you!

For dinner, we have reservations at Mustards Grill, a landmark restaurant in Napa Valley.  Known as the fancy rib joint with way too many wines, Mustards is the place to go for a heaping plate of honest American fare with worldly sophistication, washed down with a glass of the valley's finest!  What I love about Mustards is most of their produce and herbs are grown on the property!

After dinner, we'll stop at Schramsberg Vineyards to toast our non smoking success.  Schramsberg is one of the official suppliers to the White House, providing wine since the days when Richard Nixon was president!  They make a mean cappuccino too!  All Aboard!!!
