Cravings Don?t Take Holiday?s

Brenda, that is a little eerie, glad, for you, that it didn't last too long.

But, my Mom used to say the same thing happened to her for years and years after she quit. Just out of the blue, a little "boy, I want a cig" would pop up, she would just laugh and it would pass, she said.

I hope you left all of those eerie craves in San Francisco and didn't take them home with you.

When I was in San Francisco, I had a craving for the first time in I don't know how long. I had just eaten lunch at a cafe and stood to grab my purse and leave, when I noticed that I was craving a cigarette. It was sort of a sneaky crave, because it was so low level at first that I was operating on automatic. I looked around briefly like I was looking for something, and then realized that something was a store. I did put it out of my mind quickly once I realized what was going on on. But it was still a little eerie.
