Hi Helena,

By "restart a smoking campaign" I meant:

"Beware of  the consequences should you ventured off and rekindle the fire."

When I first arrived at this site it was 6 months after I had quit smoking; I quit without chat support.  However, at that time I didn’t know chat support was available.  I was inspired by the triumphs of others and had strong desires to push those hanging on the fence over to the nicotine free side.  I recall posts of those in quit, who talked about x-smokers, whom they knew who continued to have smoking thoughts after 5, 10, 20 years. OMG, I said, Lord was does that mean to my lowly quit of 6 months!

What I have seen in others and what I’ve experienced, a person is well established as a non smoker after 18 to 24 months.  You may meet up with the occasional ‘I want a puff syndrome’, however it is an aberration else you would be smoking again. Know that.  What would it mean to you to restart a smoking campaign?

I like candy in moderation as best I can.
