Hello BlueMadCityFanTony,

Congrats on being smoke-free for 9 days! Continue to read lots and post often! If you need suggestions on even more ways to cope with temptation, take a look at milestone 4! It is filled with great tips on how to overcome tempting moments.
It sounds like you have successfully made it through several tempting situations in the past week. Be proud of yourself and continue to work hard!

Hi Tony,

Good for you!  9 days is a huge milestone!  You have passed through Hell Week and are half way through the next.

If those focal points have been important to you in your day.........keep them, but use the time to reward yourself for your achievement, or just go over in your mind what a great thing you are doing, while you drink those glasses of water and wash more nictotine out of your system.  It does take a while for it all to go.

I think you are being modest!  Your motivation that you credit to your pills is really coming from you and your sheer determination to win through!  Look at the hard tests you have had in the past few days, and you got through them.
Congratulations!  You are well on your way as long as you keep your eye on the ball!

Whatever it takes, just don't smoke!

Lolly.

HI ALL

Had all my tabs now and I`m on a massive milestone now of 9 whole days...(225 hrs and 2 mins actually..ha,ha).....so what happens now.?????

No more morning focal point of having breakfast to take the pill with food....(I never have breakfast at home, I usually wait for lunch at work)....also, no more focal point of have my tea, (evening meal), and then washing down a pint or two of water with a tab after food....

SO WHAT DO I DO NOW????

WHAT IS MY DAILY THING???

I suppose I have come along way now because I could`nt go 9 mins without thinking of a smoke never mind 9 days and I have been going hours and hours these last few days without a crave.

So today is really the 1st day of the rest of my new non smoking life. Gonna read lots on here and keep motivated as the pills have probably been doing that for me.

THE WEEKEND TESTERS

Of all weeks to quit was one where I had a day out at the Football on Saturday, The Christening of my Grandson on the Sunday and a Monday drink with my friend who was going back home to Spain the day after and on Tues my tax was due so it was 10 hrs office work...so really I chose a bad week..or did I because...

I PASSED ALL TESTS THROWN AT ME...YEEEE HAAAA!!

So I suppose it was a good week to quit as I passed all tests and although no focul point in the day now, lets see what happens!!
