Hi Tony .. hope you had a great weekend.   yes it seems like we need to do regular tasks, dily activities.. things we always did with a smoke,  smoke free at least once, to help retrain our brains, and calm the addiction, that we can live life very happly free of smokes.

FRIDAY
---------
DAY 5
-------
118HRS 19 MINS SINCE I SMOKED
-----------------------------------------

Today was a tester bu tommorrow,Saturday, is a massive test.

I was cleaning out the car today and low and behold...3 cigs and a lighter in the glove compartment. My worse nightmare one would have thought but no, fobbed it off, binned them and continued onwards and upwards with the quit.

Now tommorrow is a little different. I am on a massive test because I`m at The Game.

Manchester City v Valencia in Manchester, Uk with the boys. Soccer is my game and this is the last friendly game before the English Premier League starts for real next Saturday. I`m at a wedding that day in The Lake District, Cumbria. Thats gonna be ace.

So it`s test after test now and walking thro` the smokers at the front door at my bar does`nt bother me. A customer came into the office to see me and he bloody stunk to high heaven of cigs..Oh what a disgusting smell.

WE SMELLED THAT WAY!!!

Dont wanna go back there smelling like that...its not nice!!! Anyway...Day 5 all good..little testers everywhere but coped and got thro` it.

Very Pleased Tony in The UK!!

The day will come Blue, but we can't tell you when. Expecting it within the first month, however, is probably overly optimistic. It's a rogressive chage, usually. You'll likely start thinking less and less about it until you rarely think about it. But you may actually think about them from time to time for the rest o your life. They were so much a part of us. Quitting smoking does require a lot of patience.

Great job Tony!  Keep at it one day at a time.  Just keep tracking your quit meter and watch those days and savings add up and yes the thoughts will diminish gradually.
Keep posting!

Step by step it will happen!

Change up your routine!  Use the tools and tips and ask questions, the members can help.  You were smoking for a long time and it will take some time to decrease those thoughts.

What preparation have you made?
What coping mechanisms do you have?
How is this different from the last time?

Tony, you're doing great!  Keep telling the nicodemon that he no longer controls your life.  He may make you think of smoking, but you are telling him N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever)!!!  One day at a time and you'll go far!

I wonder how long it takes till you have a whole day where you don`t think of smoking....does that day ever come ?? I must have thought of smoking over 100 times + today....not that I wanted one, just thought of it and fought it all off yet again.

Very strange day really....totally different from Days 1+2.....well I got thro` it and heres to Day 4...

HOPE YOU`RE ALL STILL STAYING STRONG!!
