In addition to examining your core beliefs we’d like you to also spend some time identifying your core assumptions. Remember you assumptions are rules you live by.

There are a number of ways to get a better understanding of your assumptions. One way is to think about a specific situation in which you experienced some strong emotions and ask yourself what rules you have about those types of situations.
