It's so much more fun on this side of the fence and you know what? It is only going to get better and better for you as you turn those 30 days into 300 and then 3000 and beyond!!!

Well Done - just keep doing it!

Conrats Roses 30 days is such a great achievement.  Yes you are right you are a "non smoker" now and I'm telling you it's so great to be able to say that.  Yes you are right, there are people who will come up with some pretty negative stuff during your quit, but you have it right by shrugging it off realizing that they are not going to have any influence over that quit of yours.  I'm so happy you are in nature having such a great celebration.  I can tell you are going to make this stick.  Keep up the great Quit!

I am very proud to announce that I will have 30 days by the time you read this.  I am rewarding myself by taking a short vacation to Bryce Canyon National park in Utah. I have been here for 2 days now celebrating, and was able to go for a 2 1/4 mile hike today at a elevation of 9000 feet with temperatures in the 80's.  It was hard but I was able to do it. This is something I would never have been able to do if I have not quit smoking.  I want to thank you all for supporting and encouraging me to stay quit even when the cravings got real bad.  I would never have been able to stay quit without all of the support I received for you all here.  I received a upsetting and very negative email this evening and even that didn't spoil my quit.  I am having a lovely time and looking forward to a happy and healthy life again now that I am a non smoker. I am getting stronger both physically and emotionally every day. I love being on this side of the fence.
