Hi Lizzie,

Thanks for sharing this story with us, it is always great to remind ourselves of the many benefits being smoke-free has awarded us. Enjoy each and every moment and do continue to share them with us!

Members, do you have any stories about the benefits of being smoke-free?

Just picking up from Breather's post.....

I attended a work forum yesterday.

Twenty years ago, all the smokers would be gathering together in the breaks and catching up with the gossip....Well, yesterday it was the solitary smoker who had to rush outside on his own to get his fix.  He missed out chatting to everyone at the buffet lunch.  I know how he would have been counting those hours before he could smoke again, and desparately waiting for the next break.

I'm so glad I don't have to miss out any more.

Lizzie
