First of all I am here to quit smoking and using nicotine products.  The rest of the suggestions here will be a lot easier to do once I get this monkey off my back for good.

Hypertension increases the risk for heart disease and stroke which are both leading causes of death. Here are a few tips to help prevent and control high blood pressure:

-Eat a healthy, balanced diet
-Maintain a healthy body weight
-Participate in regular physical activity
-Quit smoking
-Use stress management techniques
-Check blood pressure regularly and have regular check-ups with your doctor
