Lady  Listen to what the doctors say. They see the end result every day. Go through the withdrawal and welcome the healing. You will succeed in your own time. At 8 months there was nothing physical about it only a head game. Like Rock said you may need a hand to get back up on the wagon. You're the most important person here. Good for you. breather

There you go Lady, that second opinion has underlined what your first doc said.  It's a tough slog but you've done it for a time, now just remember what happened that caused you to go back and make sure it doesn't happen again!  You're back and that's the important thing, now stick to it and take with you the support of this great group at the SSC.

Wishing you well.

Hello fellow quitters, I am back again after smoking since March 1st. But, I smoked my last ciggarette at 11:37pm last night and I mean to stay quit one day at a time. I had stopped coming to this forum and I know that it is important for me to stay focused and involved. I got told Tuesday that I needed to quit my right eye was hemorraging around my focal point and fluid was building up but, the doctor asked about smoking and he proceeded to suggest i quit smoking. Well, this is the second doctor for different reasons to tell me to quit so, I have to I did this before for eight months so I know that it is a possibility this life with out ciggarettes. So, again any replies I would greatly appreciate, suggesstions are welcome. Thanks for being here for me
