Dear Kelly,

I'll think of you and pray for you as your family go through this ordeal.  Yes there are lots of people going through hard times, but you need to concentrate on your problem and vent where and when you can.  It will all help you to feel less anxious.  The waiting game is the hardest part!   {{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}

Love Lolly.

You just hang in there.  It is hard sometime seeing love ones behave in a manner that is not normal, just remember it is not her it is her sickness.  She needs your strength right now and you can use us to help you through this.  My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.  (((HUGS)))

Well, talked to the doc last night.  Looks like it is a virus that is attacking Chelseas liver and it will just be a waiting game, so he said last night, then calls me today to say they are going to rerun a 24 hour urine for wilsons disease again which they already ruled out..her labs must have been screwy or something.  I really only talked to the nurse, not the doctor.  They are going to start her on Vit K, I think because her platlets are low.  The real problem right now is the blood sugar.  Since yesterday we have not been able to regulate it and she goes in and out of like a conscious state, words slurring, yelling and screaming..it has been really tough.  I am so glad that I have all of you.  I need all the friends I can get.  We go for a glucose test on Tues.  the kind you take when you are pregnant...the sugar syrup you drink, then they are going to show me how to give her injections of glucose for those times she isn't lucid enough to take food or drink.  they gave her anti nausea pills yesterday and told her she can take three advil for her headaches.  So, at least I am able to help treat some of the symptoms, I feel really helpless at times, and really angry at her when she gets so violent and mean.  I know I shouldn't because she isn't aware of whats going on, but it gets hard to swallow sometimes.

Thanks for letting me vent..

Love you all.

Kelly

Oh my, what a time you must be going through!!  So glad you passed the pack on the ground - it's so true that smoking won't take the problems away, it'll only give you others.  Stay strong and vent all you want, that's what we're here for.
