Thanks everyone.  I feel good about it this time.   In fact, so good that I quit one week before my planned new years eve.  So far, no cravings at all.  Of course, I've done this before and never really have a hard time until the three month mark.  That's when I'll need to fight a little harder.  For now, it's easy-breezy.  :)

Welcome back Another Try.  Every try is a push towards a smoke free life, so congratulations on having the courage to come back.  If you want to quit more than you want to smoke, you will succeed.  Here's to a smoke free new year!

Welcome back!  Don't beat yourself up - we all practice quitting the first few times around.  It takes a few times to get it right.  You will do this if you want it badly enough and it sounds like you do!
Stick close to this site - the people here are wonderful and so very helpful!

Welcome back One Last Try,
None of us will ever quit unless we give it a try. I'm no instant success with quiting either,  but hope I never take another puff of those little nasties. This is so worth it! No more monkeys on our backs!  We can do this (one day at a time)!
All the best!

Well, I have re-set my quit meter.  Again.   I should have quit smoking years ago.  I don't remember the first time I tried on this site.  But, my last attempt was April 2009.  I made it to October with a few slips in between.  Basically, I'm back to square one.  Some of you may remember me........I'm not sure if my old quit buddies are still hanging around.  If so, I hope you did better than I did.  And for those of you I haven't met yet, hello.  I think I'm going to do it this time.
