the e cigarette?

Electronic cigarettes have not been designed to help people quit smoking and they have not been proven to be a safe and effective nicotine replacement therapy. They may pose risks such as nicotine poisoning and addiction to users.  The sale of the e-cigarette is not legal in Canada. Smokers wanting to use nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to quit should consider approved and tested products (e.g. patch, gum, inhaler, or lozenge)

Usually these types of things don't work because all of the taste in a cigarette is in the tar and other harmful chemicals in the smoke.  These "smokeless" cigarettes just deliver a small dose of nicotine.

I just threw this  out there quickly but now I have a bit of time to explain what it is all about and my personal thoughts about it I just heard about it tonight. Basically it is a cigarette that does not emit any smoke you smoke it through this machine type thing that vaporizes it. It contains no chemicals they claim like carbon monoxide or other chemicals that harm your lungs and health. It advises non smokers not to use it as they say nicotine is a very addictive drug. You can smoke it anywhere and it says it doesnt give off a smell, bad breath and all that. If you want to read more on it by all means do so.

Personally I would not use it as I just got all the nicotine out of my system and dont want to be re hooked and spend money on something that I feel I need to feed my addiction. I guess I would recomend this to a die hard smoker who refuses to quit I mean at least it would lessen their health effects to smoking but yet again it would be up to them if its worth it, I mean I would rather get rid of an addiction that just make it easy and justify an addiction. just my thoughts.
