How Many of Us Remember...

You ( you are really great at welcoming newbies), Lainey, Cristans, that beautiful lady from the other side of the pond (the name is escaping me, embarrsingly, but she knows who I mean) and quite a few more.

And of course the wonderful admin.
I read your Hall of Fame story today - well done you.
SS

Moss was first to answer my call but Karren, Daily Llama, and my quit buddy Theresa made me love hanging out at the SSC.  And I loved that Brenda replied to my first thread I made here when I reposted it one year later at my anniversary somehow thinking I was a new quitter asking me "how's it going Ron", followed by "Now I'm confused, which Ron are you, the one I know or a new one???" Brenda you are so cute...Ron

What first stuck with me was marivi's sheer kindness. She reached out to help a perfect stranger.

I have so many people here on SSC, that encouraged me on this path: Kaiser, No smoking Tresa, Marivi, Brenda... But the one that stood by me at all times was/is Impalamania/Dave. I do think I would not have made it this far without his help. So thank you again, buddy. For teaching me how to "Keep the quit"

Wow, easier for me than others that have more time.

Brenda was the first to greet me from the members, Josie was on at the time. Then all my fellow quitters were soon after.

The first person who welcomed me was Catiorioc..Followed by Jacqui, and the domestic goddess herself.....No Smokin' Tresa..It seems so long ago.

Thanks for starting this thread. It really makes this site much more meaningful remembering why and how we became smoke free. I owe a lot to the SSC.

Very cool topic, Brenda  The responses to my very first post are the driving factor as to why I have continued with my quit.  I was reaching out for ANYTHING different than previous quit attempts.  A total of 20 people replied to my first plea for help.  I am grateful to all of you on this site.  However, Henny Penny/Sabrina was the first to welcome me.   Thanks to all!!!

Keep the Quit,

Dave
