Birth Control

The only thing you may have is occasional breakthrough spotting or bleeding. But you do have to let yourself have a period every few months. I worked at an obgyn office and I know it is okay to do. The biggest complaint we would get is people complain about the spotting at randoms times. But in your case, and many others, it is well worth it! Have you ever considered depo provera injections? You don't get periods at all with that.

Hello, I made a post previously about the connection between hormone levels and anxiety...and some of you responded by saying that some doctors say that it's okay to skip your placebo pills altogether. My doctor said I could do this but only for three months, then I have to take the placebos for a week...and then I can do it again for another three months, etc. I was just wondering if any of you have done this, and if you have, do you know if this increases any of the risks that birth control pills entail? I think this will help my anxiety, but in the same breath, I'm worried it will increase it because I will constantly be thinking that I'm more at risk for a health problem. My placebos are supposed to begin this coming Sunday, so you can imagine my nerves right now!
