Janet,
I think a lot of people take pleasure in otheres failures.  Don't let him get to you anymore.
It's obvious you shouldn't talk to him for support, he doesnt sound like a real friend. Stay strong and remember we are here for you

Thanks Kaiser.  I know you're right, it just sparked something in me that really had me wanting to come across the table and pop him one good.  He's never been a smoker; so he has no clue how difficult it is to quit.  I'm sure if he had been, he wouldn't have said anything unsupportive.  I've been trying to keep my emotions in check because I know how bad they can get the first few days.  I WAS doing really good too!  Ok, going to try and take another round of deep breaths, dust myself off and get back at it.

Janet:
Jazz hit the nail on the head.  Emotions can get the best of you early in your quit. You will run into guys like this Jeff character now and then.  Prove that you are better than them by not letting them get to you.  you are doing great.  spend the rest of your day planning what you will reward your self with after such a bad day.

I'm trying, I really am.  It's just a very frustrating day and that didn't help at all.  I WANT to stay quit this time, I really do.  I HAVE to do it.
I wish I could just crawl in bed and sleep for a week - then hell week would be over.  Heck week was a walk in the park compared to this.
