In tears

Hey Brenda - no problem, I understand completely.  Believe it or not, my day actually turned out really good!  I haven't had a craving for a smoke since my meltdown earlier and I feel really good going into this evening.
I will be back tomorrow, SMOKE FREE

Hey Gimm, I wish I could just wave a wand and make it go away. The first two weeks are likely to be difficult, but things should ease up significantly in a few days. I know the days seem really long right, but they will shorten again. Breathe, breathe, breathe. Drink plenty of water. Suck on sugar-free candy.

Thanks Gimm and everyone who threw the lifeline out.  I'm still hanging on and still smoke free.  I knew this was going to be a rough ride but wow, wasn't ready for these speed bumps.
Every minute that passes feels like an eternity.  I have to succeed - failure is not an option.
It's going to get worse before it gets better and I have to accept that.

It's worth it.  Trust me.  It's worth it.  If your going to keep trying to quit until you get it right then keeping pushing forward no matter what.  Cause if you don't you torture yourself by going back to square one over and over again.  Keep looking forward.  It sucks but it will pass in time and then you'll never have to do it again.

And you'll be richer, smell better, look better and all that stuff too.  lol.

Janet:
Keep on screaming.  We do hear you and we know where you are comming from.  Let us be the shoulder that you need to lean on.  Tears are a normal thing this early in your quit.  Three days is an awesome achievement.  You are doing great.  Is is worth it?  HELL YES!!!!!!!

I CAN'T DO THIS

I'm screaming and no one hears.  I'm crying and there is no shoulder to lean on.  I feel like giving up and yet I don't want to.  Why oh why is this so damn hard?  I can't even handle a little stressful situation without bursting into tears.  Is it worth it?  Sometimes I wonder.

Hey Rock - thanks for your help!  Yep, all my progam tools are still in order but I've yet to reward myself - don't feel as though I've earned any just yet.  When it's a little easier, then I will feel that a reward is in order.  Right now, I'm still fighting the demon very hard and I don't want to give in to him.  When the urge to light up subsides a little, then will be the time for a small reward.
I feel as though I'm fighting an uphill battle but it's a battle I am ready, willing, and able to fight.
I've been here before - two years ago I quit for three months with the help from all you wonderful people here and I am hopeful that this time will be my last time.
