October is breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer has effected the lives of
many. Every woman no matter what age
should know how to give themselves a breast examine. Women aged 40-49 should have a clinical
breast exam every two years and talk to their doctor about benefits and risks
of mammography. Women aged 50-69 should
have a clinical breast exam every two years and have a mammogram every two
years. Women 70 and older should talk to
their doctor about how often they should be tested for breast cancer. This information was taken from the Canadian
