A question about Nicotine Gum

15 years ago 0 11226 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Healthy,

Has your husband talked to your doctor about this?  Your doctor will be able to offer advice.  It is often recommended that you wean yourself off the nicotine gum.  By slowly replacing sugar free gum with nicotine gum.  Nicotine gum certainly is healthier for you then smoking but as for long term health risks I suggest discussing your concerns with your doctor.

My husband has been chewing nicotine gum for about 5 years. What would be your suggestion as to how he can quit the gum? Could this be doing harm to his mouth/gums? Thank for your reply.
