Yeah, FEATHERDANCER, I'm chewing a lot of sugar-free gum and eating celery and carrot sticks.

Featherdancer,

Although today was a tough one, you got through it and that's huge! Be as proud of yourself as I am of you for making it! Try using candies, gum or ice water along with the breathing techniques when you get a craving.

May tomorrow be an easier day for you! Keep your guard up and stay strong!

You know these cravings can get pretty intense sometimes- today I started work after being off for over a year and a half...on the way home I drove faster than usual because I wanted my "reward"..then I remembered that my reward is not smoking - took my time and slowed down. I am relying heavily on breathing techniques to take the place of smoking and it does work. Today was a tough one though..

This is a really hard day  - I am so stressed out but AM NOT GOING TO SMOKE!! My husband goes outside to smoke so that there are no cigarettes to be seen at home - today is one of those days that if there were cigarettes around I would be smoking without a doubt. I know that I will never buy them so I am safe. Whew!
