Good to hear! we rented from Dollar last year in Florida, and the car stank of stale smoke. When the AC went on it was even worse. I do believe that Dollar is non- smoking already?? but maybe this isn't strictly adhered to.
My Milage:

Thanks for sharing Rock HAHA!

Isn't it nice to not be inconvenienced by smoking anymore?

I received an email a little bit ago announcing that Budget is going smoke free October 1, 2009.  Up to a $250 cleaning fee if the car smells like smoke when it is returned.  I remember when I smoked I would always search out a "smoking" rental car.  Now when I get a rental car the first thing I do is smell it to make sure it doesn't smell like smoke.  I used to smoke alot when I drove a car, so I'm sure this new policy is going to affect alot of smokers.  Probably the same way hotels going smoke free affected me a couple years ago!  We'll probably see more cars at rest stops along the highways!  We better let each state's Department of Transportation know that they neet to put more ash trays at rest stops!  LOL!
