I am so sorry Rock.  Our thoughts are with you and your partner.  We will always be here whenever you need us.

You are right, everyone please don't smoke.  The dangers of smoking are very real, and effects so many.

Rock,

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

For those of you who know my situation, my other half got a bad prognosis last week.  We thought he was in remission from spinal cancer, but in fact it moved north.  Last Thursday we were told it was brain cancer.  Steroid shots to keep the swelling down during radiation therapy to his cerebellum is the treatment.  2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, until they determine if the treatment is working.  Please don't smoke.  I had a cancer scare.  I go back to the oncologist next Monday to make sure I'm still cancer free.  He has cancer.  Cancer sucks!!!  Please don't smoke.
My Milage:

My Quit Date: 8/20/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 384
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,360
Amount Saved: $3,840.00
Life Gained:
Days: 57 Hrs: 9 Mins: 21 Seconds: 48
