Mamma D, what a wonderful posting!  You are so right!  Its all about beating the nicodemon!  Life throws us lemons, and when we smoked, we were bitter and tart.  Now that we are non-smokers, we are sweet and we are making lemonaid!  It is wonderful to say that you get through each day's ups and downs without smoking!!!  I'm so happy that you can say that!  Boy do those 82 smoke free days look awesome on ya!  I'm looking forward to celebrating your 90 days with you!  Then you'll have 10 days to pack for the virtual beach!!!!!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Mamma D Yes you can do this. One day at a time you're building a strong foundation. When you want to stop smoking as much or more than you want to smoke it becomes possible to stay quit. Congratulations on 82 days. One day is huge. 82 days is 82 X huge. Excellent   breather

What an amazing post Mamma D- It takes us a while to realise that we can cope with life's up and downs without turning to the old enemy to supposedly help us through- after all, non-smokers cope with life's trials and tribulations, and so can we.
Ninety days is certainly an amazing achievement- anyone who is an ex-smoker has to acknowledge that to get this far is really commendable, and yes you have come too far now to even consider going back.
We are all proud of you, and I for one am proud to have been with you on your quit journey- just think in a few more days time it will be your 100 days, your century-awesome, enjoy!!

Getting close to a big milestone for me.  90 days has been the longest I have ever gone and its getting closer each day.  I will be successful this time because I really want to be.  Its easy to get upset or have millions of reasons to light up but just the one reason of making a choice NOT TO  is much more important.  We all go through ups and downs every single day but i feel better about myself each day I remind myself that I accomplished it without that darn demon.  What a relief it is for me to say this.  This site is the backbone of my success and I salute and cherish you all.  I can never say thank you enough.  I love you all!!!!!!
