MM, welcome back!  We've missed ya!  But I'm glad to hear that your trip with the family to NOLA was a success!  Its funny for all of my travelling I've never been to NOLA.  One of these days I'll head there.  It is funny how we don't notice smoking until we quit.  Its like buying a new car.  You don't notice that brand until you own it.  Then when you think you are the only one with that car, you see 500 of them just driving to the grocery store 1 mile down the street!  LOL!

You're funny, Dave!  Glad I only had to show my 'resolve' to earn the beads---I can't afford everyone's therapy if I flashed anything else!
Thanks for the welcome back everyone.  We did have a really good time, and now I'm playing 'catch-up' at work.yuck

Welcome back, MM.  You've definitely been missed!  Glad you enjoyed yourself and glad the food was good!!!!!
I know what you mean about the world being for smokers when you don't smoke, and vice versa.  Good point!
You went away a non smoker, and returned a non smoker!!!!!!  Nice work!

Hey MM
Welcome back!!!!
Did you try the "hurricanes" at Pat O'Braians'?
One is enough to send you to sleep, even if your hotel is in the French Quarter.
And yes it does smell to smokeand liquot. I wonder why......
One of the nicest dinners I have ever had is at the Court of the two sisters, in the French Quarter. Wonderful cuisine!
I'm really happy to see that you are doing great!

Sounds great! I love places with loads of "weirdos"! Who ever had the strange idea that everybody had to behave and look like everybody else?!?!
Would love to see New Orleans one day. Reminds me of the Sting song "Moon over Bourbon Street"- and the Anne Rice novels. And jazz music- which I absolutely adore!!
