Hey everyone - My name is Terry and I am starting my journey to become a non-smoker.  I have been on the site for sometime and I've been working hard on getting myself set for this journey packing so to speak.  I have kept a smoking diary for a couple of weeks now and I was very surprised to find out what my triggers are and I know I can beat them.

My quit date is June 28, 2009, I will be starting Chantix on June 14/09.  I have to tell you I am both excited and scared but I am ready to quit.  I am so tired of it dictating my life.

While I have been preparing myself I found that one thing kept coming up - what do you do when I'm not smoking?  I have been smoking for 30 years now so it is such a big part of my daily routine and I found the hardest thing to do what figure out what I will do with the time I will have....strange.

I know that this site will help, it has already help me prepare and I love reading the posts, they really inspire me and I know that when I have those moments of doubt that I can turn to this site for some words of wisdom and a swift kick to the butt to keep me going.

Cheers
Terry
