Marivi, there is a typo in my last post. (My keyboard is not very sensitive. I have to hit the keys hard.) The bottom line is that I would love to attend one of those theaters.

I haven't seen that kind of movie theaters in the US. They belong to a Mexican Corporation and they are a big chain in Mexico. Cinemark is the second. Of course Cinemark is the huge american chain.
So when I have american friends or relatives visiting from accross the pond, I take them to the movie theater to impress them...
Some years ago I read that they were opening that kind of movie theaters in New York, but I don't know if they are out there.

I do love rewarding myself with movies! And we are saving a lot of money not smoking, so Netfix is a great idea for you! I don't have Netfix in Mexico, but I like to go to the VIP movie theaters.. You have these wonderful recliners and they give you a little airplane blanket. You can order sushi or beer or a margrarita and you eat your food and sip your drinks while watching the movie. And it only costs 7 dlls a ticket!!!!

You should look in the mirror and say" I'm a VERY smart young person for Quitting at my age"
Thank yourself daily for being smarter than a lot of us...........
How much money are you actually NOT spending on smokes now? Use that to buy your favorite candy or some Lifesavers or Tootsie Pops and reward yourself.
Keep the Quit

Treating yourself to a cup of flavored coffee. Bubble baths, nice long showers. Taking a nice long walk to smell the roses. Donating your saved money to a good cause. Do something with a smoke free friend that in the past may have given you grief about smoking. Picking up a hobby that you've always wanted to do. Having a nice dinner out. Paying to have your car professionally cleaned so you don't smell smoke in it. Hiring a maid service to give your house a good cleaning to get rid of the smoke smell. Planting some flowers in your yard, or in a container garden. Scheduling a physical to make sure everything is working properly physically ( you wanna see all the good healthy side effects of quitting!) Buying some wonderful Belgium Chocolates and rewarding yourself with one piece of chocolate per day until the box is empty. Buying some wonderful Belgium Chocolates and rewarding yourself by consuming the whole box in 2 minutes! LOL!
Pick something that is special to you! Remember, treat yourself like royalty!!!

marivi, I like the idea of using a movie or having coffee at a cafe as a reward. I'm also thinking about using the subscription movie service Netflix. I couldn't afford the $17.99/month before. From past experience, the service is very efficient. I get new movies within a day of dropping old ones into the mailbox.
