You may have been tempted, but you resisted, and that's a good thing!  Think of how much you have gained throughout your quits, because even though they did not stick, you learned something every time.
As for happiness, out attitudes and outlook on life is a lot like smoking.  A kind of habit, if you will, that CAN be altered.  Use the same strategies you use for smoking.
You offer so much to everyone, Sparky, and I am grateful for you!

Morning Bob.  PB I reread my post.  First I need to proof read before I post   I am trying to find where I was negative.  I certainly could have been and I will look at it.  As you know I have been though this many times and at this point into my quit I would keep silent to where I was at and it always cost me my quit some where down the road.  I am trying to be as honest I as I can.  PB you are probably right since there is negativity in my personality and I do try to stay on top of it.  See this working for me now.  As long as the quitters here have the  "love" to point out what they read of feel after reading and then post their thoughts we all can learn.  Some would call it "tough love"

Keep the Quit

Morning Sparky.......I didn't smoke yesterday and really wasn't tempted.  Busy day.......Thank you.

PB.......I found the addict really tried hard to get me back on cigs.......starting about 30 days.......The chatter and voices became almost relentless.  It was NOT a fun time......
It's what we have to endure though....until we beat the addict down enough times that he starts to ease up the pressure.  Saying N.O.P.E. never was all that important to me until then.
Dave (Impalamania) went through it just ahead of me and posted a lot about it.  I was able to brace myself some because of things he said.  Of course the help from everyone else here was never-ending and great too.
Unfortunately we're all different in how it affects us.  I wish I could tell you how long and how hard it will be.....I can't.

You have a 34 day Quit going.  You have a tremendous attitude about this Quit.  You definitely want it to be your last.  I see you fighting and winning!!!!  Grab hold when you need to and get the help you need to make it stick!!
Awesome Job man.

Keep the Quit
Bob

Sparky,

I know where your at, but I'm not supporting your negative thoughts. On day 33 I find myself thinking more about it, don't know why, but it makes me mad as hell. I'm sure I speak for most of us, including you when I say we are tired of being slaves to this nasty habit!! When you feel weak, read Joe Cools post, when you feel like slipping, read the first 3 days of my blog, when you feel weak, do anything that will positively re-enforce your quit. We're here for you, as you have been for us.

Sparky.. actually no, my wife did that to my dog.  Disturbing eh?  I protested it, but she thought it was cute.  Apparently the dog didn't think so!   Congrats on having an easier day today.. one day at a time!
