Joyce,
Glad you got through that first day.  That is the best day to clear because it starts the momentum rolling and I can see already your excitement to make this work.  You have a nice plan of activities today to distract yourself. And if a craving does come up during the day just take a deep breath and tell yourself NOPE and keep yourself occupied.  ssssssssss Ron.

Luverly morning to everyone!! Yesterday was Day One of Hell Week and I made it!!!!! I am so thrilled, so grateful. one whole day. Is this where I post just to talk to you all? My reward was a big one - I got my new little Yorkie!! She is five and almost four pounds. Platinum blond and grey-brown saddle. She slept at the top of my head cause my other dog Zuma (half Chichuachua half long haired doxie ) jealously guards the right side of the bed. I also have a rescue cat, Chloe that I had shaved like a lion yesterday. She is long haired and will not/ can  not keep herself detangled and won't let me brush her. Hence the shaving - she does feel so much better.

The patch made me slightly dizzy yesterday and my mind is all over the place - more than usual,. I don't know why this is suddenly bold, sorry. My son, computer business owner and genius is gonna clean my CPU for me as this is acting up like crazy.

The biggest thing yesterday was forgetting that I am N.O.P.E and found myself reading or working on my mandalas and automatically reaching for a cigarette! I'm getting small suckers today to cope with that hand mouth thing. I fixed a large pan of brownies and I'll give half to my friend and her hubby today. I had my stomach stapled in 1980 and gaining weight hasn't been a problem for me so hopefully I'll only gain a few pounds. Which I could care less about right now. Geez, I keep coming back to one whole day!! I'm reading all the posts I can and will eventually catch up or at least begin to know you and post more.

Today's plans - walk dogs, work on mandalas, practice keyboard, go take brownies and Bella to show her off to BFF, dust floors, and watch a bit of tv. Also my back exercises.

Could someone direct me to the Dr. Dodd diet? I've lost my place and would appreciate it. So long for now. Will write more tomorrow.
Hugs and blessings,
Joyce
