Ohhh, Ms Marple--so sorry I missed this!!!  What an awesome time in your life--so happy that your daughter is doing wonderful, you are on vacation and getting to spend time with hubby & daughter. WOOOHOOOO--it doesn't get much better than that:)...Except, of course, that it is all without the ciggy-butts..

Have a blast during the cruise & I'm quite sure that Rock & CT will take very good care of you and your family. So lotion up there and have an outstanding well deserved break from home and work.

Enjoy,
Deb

My Dear MissMarple, how wonderful for you and your family to take this cruise!  I know you have been looking forward ot it for a while.  You have so much to celebrate this week!  I wish you a tan without the burn and umbrella drinks without the hangover!  So you have to get this non smoking attitude to wear off on the boys!  Wasn't it a weird feeling buying smokes?  And 2 cartons at that!  I do hope they follow your rules about smoking in the house.  I was in NYC this week, and packs of smokes at the bodegas were over $10 a pack!!!  I don't see how people can afford to smoke there, or anywhere for that matter!  Hugs and kisses back atcha!  And yes, thats me in the speedo with the dark tan!  I have CT with me!  We'll see ya on the ship!

Last post before I leave early in the morning.  Everyone is packed (I believe).  I've prepared salads, spagehetti, potato soup and a casserole to leave in the fridge for the boys.  Told them they will have to collect their own bond money while we are gone if they get in trouble, and I bought both a carton of smokes!?!  That is their reward for feeding the farm animals and (hopefully) keeping the place neat and orderly ().  Am I crazy or what?
No smoking in the house, they know that.  They smoke in the pool house or on the porches.  Almost had to take out a loan to buy 2 lousy cartons .  Smoking is a rich man's addiction
I bought them yesterday and I swear they where whispering to me!  That may be why I had a smoking dream last night.  My mind set in this quit is so different.  I can honestly say that I have NO real desire and am soooooo committed to quitting.  Of course, the fact I rely on meds daily to even breathe may have something to do with it...and that is a direct result from smoking.  Lord, I pray for my children to quit before it's too late!
Okay.  See you guys later.  Be good while I'm gone and NO SMOKING!!!  You hear me?  Hugs and kisses XOXOXO
Rock, my dear, are you going to be my cabana boy on this cruise?

Congratulations to you and your family MM.  Those are some impresive marks and she's a captain.  She sounds like a tough cookie like her mom.  You've come so far and we are all so proud of you.  This sounds like a great chance for you and your's to kick back and relax.  Hey, maybe get a soccer game going on deck.  It'll be a lot of fun as long as the ball doesn't end up in the water.  Enjoy MM.  You've more than earned it.

MM, I love the line "This is my quit of all quits".  What a great way of putting it.  It reminds me of CD's "forever quit".  Enjoy your well-deserved holiday - I'm sure the cabana boys will never be the same.  Hmmm.....I wonder if they'll be wearing black tee shirts!

HP - awesome to see you - you've been missed!  Looks like another one-year party on the horizon!!

Miss M
Glad that you are at a place where things are pretty darn perfect.  It's so great to see the success of people who have quit and are seeing the benefits of what they have done.  By reading your message you seem to be having fun with all that is going on around you.  And isn't that kind of how it should be.  You may not show well in the bikini but your heart is definitely very young
Have a great trip and have a Mai Tai on me, that's my favorite when I'm on a tropical vacation.  I'd make it for you if I was on the ship but since I won't be there I'll give you what you need.  Take a tall glass with ice and add:
2 oz light rum
1 oz Tripple Sec
1/2 oz Orange Curaco
2 oz pineapple juice
 splash of orgeat syrup
mix all well then float another 1 oz of dark rum on top or more if you are so inclined. Add a chunk of pineapple to the rim and
ENJOY :)
