God Morning Deb..

What an up-down journey this can be.  I'm glad that you have been waking up with a new perspective after some of your rough patches.  I think it's great if you want to shift your attention in the threads a little but please go right back to your own threads if you feel the need to.  Remember this is all about you yet.  There will be plenty of time for re-focus down the road.
Have a great Sunday Deb and give your little guy a squeeze.

Yes................a strong team is a good thing

Hey Deb

Stay strong today...Congratulations on getting up and over the initial withdrawal.  I know full well what that means...Keep moving forward, you and I both know that quitting is probably the single most beneficial thing that you can do for yourself.  Hang in there you are getting it done...

stay well

Congratulations on making it through Heck Week!!!!!  You found a way to modify your routine to make it through.  Be proud of your accomplishment!

Do what it takes to keep the quit.  When I get to craving, I get to reading and posting.  Like you, I would like to try something different.  As the weather breaks, I will be walking the dog in attempts to lose the spare tire I am carrying.

Read, run, jump, work, sing, dance, laugh, cry, meditate, medicate.  You have made it through the steepest part of the journey.  Now it's time to get your nico-neuro-ma-call-its to start thinking about something other than the act of smoking.

Have a truly joyful Sunday.  Rest and celebrate your accomplishment.

I celebrate my 60 with a date in Pittsburgh for a romantic day of hockey.  Go Pens!!!

 2 weeks tomorrow!
I decided to work today.  I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but my quit still feels very vulnerable/tender and I figured I'd play it safe.  I had expense reports to get done anyway.  So it was a safe, non-craving day.  Tomorrow is the last day I'm planning on doing daily check-ins like this.  I'll be on everyday because I need to be, but I think it's time to shift my attention to all of the posts, and take part more in that way.

I'm going to go read a book--- I just picked up The God of Small Things..... I think that's the name anyway.  It looked good.

I hope you all are staying strong and smellin' good!  I am too-- let's keep this team strong!
Deb
