First off, congratulations to all the quitters be it one day or 10,000. Today my bride and I celebrate a total of 7 years quit Pete 3 years and 4 years for me. It only took me one attempt while Pete struggled and after 5 attempts she finally made it real.
We are now both on fixed incomes and the cost of 2 cartons of cigarettes per week today would really take food off the table.(not really but close). We have lost a great deal of money with the financial down turn but on the bright side we have gained a lot of life by not smoking.
I had hoped to see my main man here, Major Dude, celebrating our 4 year anniversary but then he always was late to the party. UFO where are you? Georgie wow what a job you did keeping us pulled together. Brenda I know you are out there.
To my friend and mentor Rusty, I hope you are well and in great happiness.
Pete and Duffis
