Eyes on the Prize Nikita and go where Jim's going!

10 days to a new quitter is immense - I know 'cos I NEVER forget where I came from and I KNOW what 10 days felt like and what it meant to me.

Congratulations!

Here in Canada our smokes are $12.75-$13.50.  Similar to Australia I suppose. I'm not going to miss scrounging up change to pay for a filthy habit that costs $200-plus dollars a month. Thats a car payment!

Here in my area of Australia there about 12.00 a pack now I think.  But there are also 25 in a pack.  And they have these horrid pictures of bad teeth, jacked up feet and black lungs!

When I started smoking, cigarettes we 35 cents a pack; then they went up to 40, then 45.  I said when they hit 50 cents a pack, I would quit; it was insane to spend so much money.
A few days ago, I spent 4.80 for one pack (in Virginia) and finally came to my senses.

I was just talking to my sister just about an hour ago.   I told her that I was so glad I don't have to buy cigarettes anymore.
it is nice to be free...

I can't believe cigarettes in Canada cost 13.00 dollars a pack...wow
