April, what you are experiencing is normal. We all have experienced changes in our sleep patterns! You've smoked for many years. All of these horrible toxins were in your body. You haven't smoked in 19 days. You are deprieving your body of nicotine. Your body is adjusting on how to function without the constant flow of nicotine from a cig. It will get better! I would go to bed early so I would be sure to get enough sleep. Don't watch tv when you go to bed. Don't read a book. Use your bedroom purely for sleeping right now. Do a search here on sleep as I know there is lots of other great advice! I remember one of the mod's posted something recently on how to get a better night's rest. The good thing is, you are now defining what the new normal is. You get to decide what is normal, not the nicodemon! Congratulations on your success so far!
