Hey Peanut!!!

Hello and welcome!   It sounds like you have done some great preparation and that you are really mentally prepared for to make this your final quit!  Way to kick that nico-demon's ash this morning!  By keeping and showing the nico-demon your  Positive Mental Attitude, you are paving your way to success!!!

Peanut, Astrofan picked this week's train ride destination to be Georgia (our virtual smoke free train ride).  I believe he was referring to Georgia Peanuts!  You'll see Mike pick a spot every week for our train ride!  We have smoke free stat parades, smoke free train rides, all good things to show off our stats!

I don't understand what you mean about the week you toured Georgia...I'm confused (which isn't too hard to do). :p

Well, so far so good this morning.  Had a major crave while driving to work and really thought about stopping to buy a pack but I forced myself to fight the demon.  SO...I'm here, at this moment, getting through right now and not worrying about the next hour.

Welcome Peanut!  You've made a great decision to quit smoking.  We're here to offer help and support...as well as just to chat!!!!!  It all helps in making the quit a little easier.
Work in baby steps right now.  One crave, one hour, one day at a time.  Don't look too far ahead.  And have that list of coping tools ready.
Walking, plenty of water, deep breathing(it really worked for me), good tv shows for distraction and early to bed for a while.  All of these add up to making the road a little easier to navigate!

Congratulations,
Jan
