I can remember having patches that wouldn't stick that well.  The pharmacist told me to wipe the area with rubbing alcohol before applying.  This would get rid of any oils on the skin.  I did it every time I applied a new patch, and I never had a problem.
Good luck!!!!!

One brand that I used stated to put them above the waist.  Others never addressed where to put them and then another stated the backside was okay.  Honestly, I rotate the location because I'm rather sensitive to the adhesive.  Shoulders, arms, lower back, backside.....sometimes I should probably apply it to my forhead and my husband has suggested I put it over my mouth.  However, I don't think he has my best interest at heart  Good luck.

I did not think you could put them on your behind.  I will give that a try.  I'm still using my fabric band aids...so far it's doing ok.  Thanks for all the replies.

The only place I could get them to stick was on my backside.
Problem was they left black marks all over it!!!!

My advice?
Use the  2 mg gum rather than patches..

I dont know if its the whole patch you are having a problem with but the  four corners of my patch always  used to curl up and come away from the skind and I used to panic. However, my nurse assured me that the nicotine delivery was actually in the centre of the patch? and so not to worry too much about the four corners ( I had used plasters/band aids before and they didnt always hold)
