Last Christmas Eve I was on day 17 of my quit.  It was rocky and scary and nerve wracking...this year, still those things but it doesn't have anything to do with smoking this time.  I to am thankful for the SSC, my friends and Not Smoking.

Hello Everyone,
I am just about to have my second smoke free Christmas. I just wanted to come here to tell you how wonderful it is.

I had smoked over 40 years and thought quitting was impossible. I now know it is possible, it is wonderful to not be saddled with that addiction. I feel so much better, I haven't been to the Doctor for (sinus) all year. I no longer have that hacking cough, and I smell good.

If it sounds like I am bragging on myself, I am, I didn't think I could do it. I learned so much from the members of this group. Not just about smoking about coping skills.

In this season of giving, I am pleased to give my thanks to the SSC. You will always have a place in my heart.

And for you new quitters. I don't even think about smoking unless I see someone else doing it and then I am again grateful that it is not me.

Happy Holidays~Blue Cloud
