Hi Kristilu,

Saw this a little late.  Glad to hear everything worked out in the end.  You've got the hardest week under your belt.  Everything from here on is progress.  Onwards and upwards.  Take care.

Get a stress brick instead.  The results are a tad more permanent with a stress brick than with a stress ball., especially when you throw it!  LOL!  Glad you are still surviving today!  Humor is always the best medicine!

And if squeezing the ball doesn't relieve the tension, you can throw the damn thing at your assistant!

Hang in there Kristy!

Great to hear that you're feeling a bit better.

A tension ball can be a great stress reliever at times, you could always keep one in your desk for stressful times.

Members, any other suggestions?

I have my french vanilla candle going and looking for some lite music now.  I think my boss sensed that I was about to commit a felony against my assistant and he sent him somewhere, so that really helped things.  And yes it would be nice to just be able to click him OFF!

Whew!  See...you pulled through nicely and smoke-free.  When you talk about your assitant I always think of the Microsoft Office Assistant (you know, the little annoying paperclip that pops up and tells you what to do...)  Don't ya wish there were a button you could push to get rid of the real assistant as easily?  Plug some earphones into an ipod and listen to some soothing music for a brief break from reality.  I keep a screen saver of a beach sceen and tune into some relaxation music that has the sound of waves breaking in the background.  Dim the lights and go on a vacation for about ten minutes!
