A poem? Really? You must be crazy.
Rhyming up words? I'm much to lazy.

I'd just like to say
To our Daily Llama
Please get well soon

DL,

We're looking forward to having you up and back to your old self... and even a bit medically improved! Stay focused on the positives and know that we're always here to support you. Take good care of yourself.

Thanks to all you Guys for being so thoughtful.

I love the poems.  I was reading them to my wife, Hermien, on Skype last night, and she was nearly in tears, she was so touched by your support.  Thanks again my fellow Non-Smokers.
I wish I could say more but I'm just a big worry wart and I'm distracted. I know it'll be okay and that I'll be home again by the end of November and in much more helpful spirits. I hope you understand why I'm being so "removed" and not posting so much.   I really do wish all the newbies and you longer -timers all the best and the awareness and will to never let those smoking thoughts get you down.  They will pass!!!

  I love you all

Patrick.

Those were beautiful everybody.  But you all know (based on the songs I write for Mr. Q every month he is smoke free) that the God's have blessed me with the gift of horrible song/poems.

Moderaters, we need a musical note implant thingy here!

Daily Llama, you are da bomb.
there is nothing dat rhymes with da bomb.
wishing you nothin' but good good stuff,
hoping that things are not too tough.

Not very inspiring.

I spent the day at the hospital today with my neighbor who has mouth/throat cancer.  I sat outside of the hospital (which is smoke free), for many hours today reading a book that I've been meaning to get to.  I watched many people coming and going.  There were people in entourages, people who looked worried, happy people.... and I also saw the new babies coming out who felt the sunshine for the first time.  I have to sappily admit that seeing those babies brought me close to tears.

Just as sappily, I also will tell you that I believe that God, or whomever is out there looking out for us, couldn't possibly take you away yet.  You are too important.  Your heart is strong..... I know this is really scary-- but your strength of conviction that it will turn out okay is important.  And I really feel selfish for saying that because I want you to be here.

Once again.... you are loved.  Keep up the fight, and keep writing us to let us know what is going on.

Leaves they are a turning now
Making things so calm
For inner peace you must allow
Healing brought through song

For life is hard for young and old
But life is meant to be
No need for hurt no need for cold
The outcomes what you see

So see an end of healing love
To bring you through this mess
While we all pray to God above
You win this game of chess

Watch cherry blossoms in your mind
As they come into bloom
See anything to pass the time
But hurry come back soon

You get better now!

Sincerely,

Mr Q
