Indeed, most of my friends and colleagues are smokers, some of them really heavy ones.. I'd better let them know soon!
I'm from Greece Breanne... Nice name by the way!
I'll definitely stop by as often as I can!

Hey Reggie,

The English sounds great.  My advice would be to let everybody know that you are quitting smoking.  You will already have a couple weeks under your belt so letting people know will save you from the "Hey Reggie, wanna go out for a smoke?  SURE....I mean, no I don't smoke anymore."  Just tell them all up front and ask for their support.

I would also recommend "Alan Carr's - The easyway to quit smoking."  Great book.  You also won't get any better support than the people here at the SSC.  Good job Reggie, I know we'll beat this.

Thank you all so much!
Such a warm welcome! With this kind of support, it will be much easier!
Usually the most intense desire to smoke comes when I "forget" I'm in a quit process and I reach for my pack of cigarettes to realize it's not there! And it shouldn't be!!

Hmmm, just a little warning, as I can see most of you live in english-speaking countries.. Well, I don't, so if anything I say seems weird, that's why!

Another welcome!!!

Reggie, congratulations on your decision to quit.

You'll find as all your senses become stronger, your urge to smoke will start to diminish.

Just remember, if you do have a crave to smoke, get on your computer and post....Wait for at least five responses, and the urge will be gone.

You're well on your way!!!
