I agree, join up and use this wonderful site as a resource and tool.  We are all here to help with the quit journeys, so jump in and give it a try.  Just like Karren said, there is no harm in trying, quite the contrary!!

I just want to second what Henny Penny said- if you're a guest here then you're already seeking information about quitting smoking, just like we were once.
This is a terrific site, so come on board, I too was a 'professional' smoker, in fact I was a pack and a half girl for over 37 years so, like HP, I am another example of quit success.
It can be done, its not as hard or miserable as we have always been led to believe- take the plunge, theres no harm in trying.

Lately I've seen an upsurge of guests and right now there are 405 guests! Wow!

I was like all of you, not knowing whether to join or not. I will say that you will not find a better site full of the most wonderful, caring people all with great positive attitudes!  This is the real deal from real people who have all been through the quitting process and ready to help out. To have someone in your cheering section is such a motivator to stay quit.  Trust me... I smoked more than a pack a day for over 30years -  I was a professional smoker. If I can do it, you can too! Come on, we are all here ready to help you get free from this awful addiction. You will be so glad you did.

I read and lurked for many weeks before I had the nerve to pipe up (now they can't get me to pipe down... lol).

So come on in,work the program and join us.....  we will welcome you with open arms!
