Exactly! When that need and want is constantly there, you strive to reach that ultimate goal, for it's like a driving force from within. When you're truly serious and ready, you WILL satisfy that want. It can be challenging, but we know down inside what we must do to reach that point, so we do, and live each day afterward without the bonds of nicotine addiction. The feelings of defeat are history and you can now live life the way you always wished, nicotine free. I'M the one in control now.

I don’t ask myself anymore if the quitting was worthwhile; the quitting is done the process has ended. I needed to quit for this is what I believe in, for I believed in me. It came down to doing what I had known most of my smoking life.  I had been overpowered, defeated, and controlled, and that deep seeded want to break away to become free, never left until the stage was set, the goal was visualized and the want satisfied.

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 1/22/2006
Smoke-Free Days: 919
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 16,542
Amount Saved: $5,376.15
