You guys are so great!  Thank you Stickin for this thread and thank you to everyone who came and posted in it - or may post in it still.  It really makes me feel so warm inside and makes me smile.

Lilly and Patrick, you guys may not know this, but I look to you guys for strength on these boards.  The newer quitters not only help strengthen your resolve, but you guys are really full of wisdom and you make me think.

Well, I am going out to dinner tonight with my family.  Last year I waited for my husband to plan something and then felt slighted when he didn't.  This year I saved the money, made the plans, did the laundry, ironed the clothes, and decided where we'd go.  I even got a tire fixed just now that had a slow leek because I wasn't getting cheated out of my night by a flat either!

Taking care of myself in a pro-active way is something completely new in my life, and I don't think i'd be in this place in my life right now if it weren't for quitting smoking.  Those of you that don't understand that statement, I don't think I have words to explain it, other than - 'Just wait and see.'  It's like you shed your skin when you quit smoking, and over the days, weeks, months, and years to follow, you form a new skin that's more vibrant, confident, and comfortable than anything you ever wore before.

I also have a massage coming to me, and am just trying to iron out the details with the therapist.  I made her brochures for her and did a partial trade for a massage.  I've been hanging onto it for this day!

Tresa, you have always been an inspiration to me!  Grin, Bonnie, Goofy, Deb, Stickin' & Josie - Thank you so much for supporting me through the thick and thin of it all!  Stormy!  Wow - it's been a long haul, hasn't it?  Congratulations to you, too!

Thank you all again.
