I can't believe its a month, I didn't think it was possible for me to do. The past week has been really bad in work and the college lost the exam I sat in May, so I was in a bad state. I didn't smoke and I didn't have to put up any fight, I just didn't want to. I really appreciate everyone's support and help to do this, I couldn't have stayed sane without all of you. I hadn't even thought of rewards! Hmmm, I'll have to think about that! This isn't really huge but I noticed this last night, I could blow out a candle from a good few steps away! Normally, sorry, in the past I had to almost hold them up to me and I remember the wax hitting my face one day because I had to get so close to blow out the candle. Its the little things that are great! Thanks for everything!

Love Paula

Congratulations Paula,

You are doing great!!!!   Don't loose sight of the prize.  The prize of life!!!
You are over the roughest part.  You know how to fight the craves and they will get less and less as you go.
But remember to keep your guard up because sometimes those craves can blindside you.

Your are doing a wonderful job and your are an inspiration to all those that are fighting the battle to quit.

Really happy for you, Paula. You have struggled long and hard through this your Final Quit and  you deserve a big treat for having waded through a month of smobriety.

I appreciate all the work you've done to get through the cravings. Your steady focus on the prize has served you well.   Remind yourself every day that you're now a non-smoker and keep on sharing those insights about how it feels to quit and to battle the addiction the way you've been doing up to now... you're such an inspiration to all the new folk at the starting line and a perfect aide-memoire for those of us who have travelled along with you...
