Hi All.
Let me first introduce myself.
my nick here is trixyh. I live in canada.
In march I decided to quit and was on zyban for 2 weeks, but due to severe allergic reactions I had to stop using it immediately.
2 weeks later, my doctor gave me champix to try.
it is working like a charm, and I have had the odd craving.
most of the time I will go for a walk around the block when the craving hits. drinking water was an option as well, but I felt too bloated after too much water.
It is not an easy thing to quit, and there are days that I am very tempted, but I am hanging in there, because I do NOT want to smoke again, after having done that for more than 44 years.
I feel better now, and have lots more air, and I am not coughing my lungs out for weeks now.
It also gives me a feeling of freedom, because I am more relaxed, don't have to hurry outside to have that dreaded cigaret.
I know that forums and help groups like these are wonderful.
thank you for letting my ramble on.
Enjoy another smoke free day
