Hi Paula,   how are you doing.   Hmm excuses... I think I may have been the "queen" of excuses.

In fact the day I began the Chantix we received news my mother in law has lung cancer.   Junkie talking:  Well it is probably to late for you to quit now,  on and on....  ( and I was startin this quit... and the Chantix ... so my husband would quit "bugging" me..  ) I wanted to quit.. I just wasn't 100% committed.  Well  I thought.. it is NOW or NEVER.  so I continued on the Chantix.. I found this site.. I did the work books, used tools, looked things up on the internet.. and I dedicated this quit to my mother in law.. and here I am over 100 days.

I have put the $$ aside.. I have rewarded myself..  I made friends here.  I watch my meter and setting it back to zerro...

I have all the little sayings in my head.. I picture myself as a non smoker..  I know you really want this.... do it.. one day at a time...

Bonnie
