I vote for anywhere where there the scuba diving is fantastic!    I really am saving for a dive vacation sometime after I get to that one year milestone!  Belize, Cozumel, Figi, Camans, Great Barrier Reef...  I don't really care!

Beckylynn,
My vote is Belize. I went there on a cruise a couple of years ago. Paradise! I'm sure it will be even nicer there as a non-smokers.

Ok Since we can't decide on a cabin or beach house, let's just get both.  We can go to the cabin in Colorado in the summer and the beach house in the winter.  We just need to decide where we want that beach house.  Miami?  Riviera? Can Cun?

I regularly spend some of my savings on transatlantic flights. Talk about a super-double-whammy!! What a trade!

As for the rest of the saving, it must be around here somewhere?

I just spent my $2300.00 on bamboo hardwood flooring for both the bedrooms in my condo! I actually did save the money in a separate account. Next year, I'll have another $2300.00  to put towards the down payment on the colorado cabin...hell, how about a beach front condo somewhere?
I knew that it would be easy for the money that I saved from not buying cigs to just disappear , so I set up an automatic transfer from my checking account that happened on the same day every month. It went into my special non smoking account. I wanted that money to go to something special. It would have literally gone up in smoke if I had not quit. Now, I have beautiful floors and that money was used to increase my property value instead of decreasing my health and vitality...I'm also getting a pedicure tomorrow! Don't forget the rewards..be good to yourself.

One Colorado cabin!!!!  That could be the start of the SSC wish list.  How about a wonderful Caribbean cruise for all our wonderful SSC members????  Any more for the wish list.  Like Astro says, sure is a better way to spend money.  Who wants to pay good money for all the problems and sickness smoking can cause?  Food for thought.  Food?  Did someone mention food???

Cheers,

Jan
