Zyban is also know as Wellbutrin or generic is Buprion.     I tried it when it first came out,  I had some side effects/ headaches so I couldn't take it.. I know many people have used it for smoking or as an anti-depressant and done very well with it.

Good Luck,  follow your Dr's directions, and as always we are here for you.

Hi everyone,

I was at the doctor this morning intending to get a prescription for chantix but in the end he suggested that Zyban would be more suitable for me as I suffered from depression a few years ago and Zyban was first brought out as an anti-depressant. I don't think I've heard of anyone using Zyban on this site but if you have could you please let me know how you got on with it?

Thanks

Paula
