Danielle,  sounds like you are doing good!  Focus on your quit as much as possible.  The weight you can focus on more after you are secure in your quit.  But, reading the things you are snacking on sounds pretty good for you (except the chocolate...  lol)  I was also worried about my weight when I first quit.  I walked a good bit early in my quit and tried to snack on healther snacks.  I did not gain any weight that way... but if you do gain weight... you can get it back off.  Congrats on the great quit you have going!

Hey Danielle!

You have a great start and it sounds like you prepared yourself well!!!   Just take it one minute,  one hour,   and  one day at a time!!!  It sounds like you have that munchie thing going that I had....    Maybe consider some sugar free gum or hard candy as an alternative to the munchies!!!!     If I hadn't done that,  everyone would now be calling me MR BLIMPIE!!!!   Yell if you need us !!!

Don't worry about the wieght.  Tackle to smoking first, then losing a few pounds will seem like a piece of cake. (no pun intended there)
Your doing great..hang on it is quit a ride, but worth taking.

Danielle
Glad to hear that today was better for you! That will help you to keep going!
I worried about the weight gain in the beginning a lot.
As it turned out i only gained 5lbs (which seemed like a HUGE amount at the time but i am getting over it now.
Keep on going - you are off to an awesome start!!

Today was easier.  I still wanted a cigarette when I became aggravated, but other than that I was able to just focus on work, not smoking.  I wonder if this will be an alternating thing, bad day good day.  I am eating so much though.  I think I easily ate 3 cups of brocolli today, 1/2 cucumber, too many pieces of chocolate.  Oh there goes my size 6!  It's better to be healthy, that's what I keep telling myself.  I believe it is.

Thanks for listening to me wonder on.

I've signed up for the txt and email subscriptions, but have yet to receive any.  I checked my junk mail too, nada.  Anyone else have this issue?
